"The" Boss" Six Flags St. Louis Review

Today I will be reviewing “The Boss” at Six Flags St. Louis. The Boss opened in 2000 and has been giving guests a real treat ever since. “The Boss” is 5,051 feet long and a max height of 125 feet. It reaches speeds of 66 mph and lasts 3 minutes! This wooden coaster takes you down four drops, crossovers, and high-banked turns.
Let me first say that this ride isn’t for the fainted of heart. This ride jerks you in any which way possible. From the drop to the crazy turns, this ride is the definition of crazy. Some people say this ride is too crazy for them. The reason being is, since it is a wooden roller coaster, it can very rough and cause headaches. For me, I have never had any problems with riding it. Of course I can feel the jerkiness but that’s what makes wooden roller coasters so great.
I would recommend riding this ride at night! It feels like a completely different ride when its being rode at night. I don’t know if it is because of the lack of lights or what, but it is so much fun. As for Six Flags St. Louis, I feel that this is the best ride at the park. In fact, I think it is the best roller coaster in the state of Missouri. Six Flags St. Louis has lots of good coasters, but “The Boss” is still my favorite. Ride it and make sure to put your hands up. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Check out this blog!

I had the pleasure to read “General Public vs Coaster Enthusiast” by Dwain Sponseller. He wrote an excellent article that I can truly relate to.  His article is all about the differences between the general public at amusement parks and coaster enthusiasts at amusement parks. I can agree that there is a significant difference between the two.
Dwain also goes on talking about how amusement parks work to appease the general public and not the coaster enthusiasts. That is because the general public brings in more money per person because of all the extra in-park purchases. Coaster enthusiasts are there to get the best deal and get the most coasters out of the operating hours.
He mentions also about how coaster enthusiasts get to the park early and leave the park late. I can personally say I have done both and it is definitely a must for any theme park. In addition, coaster enthusiasts look for breaking news on all new rides coming to the parks for the next operating year. I am one of those people who get excited for the big announcements. For instance, I did a blog review on the upcoming ride Valravn at Cedar Point.
The blog Coaster-net is a great blog site to check out. I particular liked the blog post by Dwain Sponseller from September 10, 2015.  I recommend looking at not only my blog, but other blogs to get different views and opinions on the roller coaster. Check back to my blog regularly to get news and opinions on roller coasters!
